Nina Lynn combines a background in law and a lifelong love of real estate in her role as a Realtor.
As the daughter of a Realtor who owned her own agency in Connecticut, Nina grew up surrounded by and following the real-estate market. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from
Hamilton College, where she majored in sociology, Nina's family connections brought her to the Burlington area.
Soon after her move to Vermont, Nina worked as a paralegal for seven years and “read for the Bar”. In Vermont a person who completes a four-year registered clerkship with the court can sit for the bar exam and become a licensed lawyer in the state. While juggling the demands of work and family, Nina instead decided to put her love of real estate to work and became a Realtor in 2004. Her years in the legal profession complement her job representing buyers and sellers. “We're writing legal contracts as Realtors, so it's helpful to have a legal background,” she notes.
Equally at home working with first-time buyers and marketing
luxury properties, Nina stresses that conversation and careful listening are as important as ever in the age of email and texting. “Communication is key, as is developing a relationship built on trust,” says Nina, who was recognized as one of Coldwell Banker's top agents when she was recently honored as a member of the company's International Sterling Society.
With business moving faster via mobile and online connections, Nina notes she is accessible to her clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving individual attention to each and keeping their best interests in mind. She brings patience and dedication to the job of finding a client's perfect house, whether it's a lakefront estate or a first-time purchase, or in helping a seller prepare his or her home for listing.
After living in the
Burlington area for more than two decades, Nina brings her knowledge and love of
Chittenden County to bear in her work helping buyers and sellers. She currently lives in
Shelburne.
"Nina Lynn was very professional and extremely patient and kind during a lengthy, time-consuming short sale. She gave 110 percent, despite the fact it was a reduced commission (5 percent instead of 6 percent) and a referral fee had to be paid out of her commission. I only wish she could have gotten paid more for all her hard work!"

"We met Nina when buying our first home. We had a ton of fun running around Burlington touring homes with her. She patiently fielded our first time home buyer questions and, at the same time, was to the point in helping us understand the complexities of the market. Nina helped us purchase a great home and then, helped us sell it a few years later!"
