Vermont Education

While the majority of students K - 12 attend the public school system, Vermont offers incredible choices for private schools as well. Among the many national Accolades Vermont receives for our quality of life and business environment - our educational system has also been recognized as the top in it's class. In 2006, Chittenden County High School students were honored with the "Rhodes Scholard" Award.

Ranked the "Smartest State in the Nation" for two consecutive years, according to Morgan Quitno Press. In a release, Scott Morgan, President of Morgan Quitno Press said,

"Any encyclopedia will tell you that Vermont produces more maple syrup, marble and monument granite than any other state; but the state also produces stellar students, thanks to its commitment to high quality elementary and secondary education."

Often the vibrant business climate and entrepreneurial spirit you'll find in the Greater Burlington area is credited to the fact that we are surrounded by top rated Colleges and Universities.
