Still, the county remains the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/special-markets\/affordable-homes-northwest-vermont.html\">affordable<\/a> in northwest Vermont. More <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/special-markets\/single-family-homes-sale-franklin-county.html\">homes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/special-markets\/condos-townhomes-sale-franklin-county.html\">condos<\/a> were available for purchase during the 1st half of 2021 than during the same period last year. This offered more options for buyers to consider in their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont-property-search-results\/status_active_active-with-contract\/advanced.html\">home search<\/a> \u2013 while still needing to be well prepared to act when the right property hit the market. The average days on market (DOM) \u2013 from listing closing was only 51 days. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/franklin-county\/st-albans-real-estate.html\">St. Albans<\/a> topped the county in sales by a large margin \u2013 followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/franklin-county\/swanton-real-estate.html\">Swanton<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/franklin-county\/fairfax-real-estate.html\">Fairfax<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/franklin-county\/georgia-real-estate.html\">Georgia<\/a>. Fairfax, the highest-priced town, posted a median sales price 38% above the county average. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/realtors.html\">Our Agents<\/a> have noted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/home-buying\/dealing-multiple-offers.html\">multiple offer frenzy<\/a> has slowed a bit, and the continued closure of the Canadian border has prevented some<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/special-markets\/vermont-seasonal-real-estate.html\"> second home sales<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
