A drop of 10% in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont-property-search-results\/status_active\/advanced.html\">homes available<\/a> for sale failed to meet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/home-buying.html\">buyer<\/a> demand resulting in a 24% decline in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/recently-sold-vermont\/washington-county.html\">closed sales<\/a>. As a result, the median sale price jumped by nearly 20%. In July, parts of the county sustained damage due to flooding from severe storms. Homes and businesses cleaned up with some, but not all, hoping to rebuild.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/washington-county\/warren-vt-real-estate-homes-sale.html\">Warren<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/washington-county\/fayston-vt-real-estate-homes-sale.html\">Fayston<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/washington-county\/waterbury-real-estate.html\">Waterbury<\/a> posted median sale prices far above the county average of $380,000 largely driven by the vacation and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hickokandboardman.com\/vermont\/special-markets\/%7BCCM:BASE_URL%7D\/vermont\/special-markets\/washington-county-luxury-homes.html\">luxury home<\/a> markets.
