Jane Kiley

Jane Kiley brings a client-centered focus to aiding buyers and sellers negotiate real estate transactions, drawing on her deep experience in Northwest Vermont's property market as well as a background in marketing and advertising.

While growing up in Connecticut's Litchfield County, Jane developed a love for Vermont during her family's ski trips to Jay Peak and other ski areas. After graduating from The Taft School and Georgetown University, where she majored in economics, Jane started her career as an advertising account executive for Hill Holliday in Boston before relocating to the Burlington area to work for Paul Kaza Associates.

While at Paul Kaza, Jane worked on several accounts for Vermont ski areas, including creating the Stowe Mountain Resort tagline “Vermont at its Peak.” In 1988, Jane decided to take the client-centered approach she honed during her advertising career to the real estate market, joining Smugglers' Notch Resort as a sales associate.

“I enjoy listening to a client, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their goals,” Jane notes. “I have more than 20 years of experience in negotiating real estate transactions, and almost intuitively I can work my way to the ultimate goal – a contract between a buyer and seller – in a non-abrasive manner.”

Her philosophy helped Jane earn Smugglers' Notch Top Sales Person award almost every year she was employed there. In 2008, Jane joined Sugarbush Resort as Vice President of Real Estate Sales, overseeing the marketing and sales of the resort's luxury Clay Brook Residences.

In 2010, Jane decided to focus on Chittenden County residential properties. She joined Lang McLaughry Spera Real Estate and during her first year, Jane was ranked within the top 12% of all residential real estate agents in Vermont. In January of 2012, Jane joined Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman Realty, drawn by the agency's commitment to providing a depth of client services.

As a Realtor, her clients have praised her professionalism and for going “beyond to make the process convenient and stress free.” Jane specializes in Chittenden County properties with a focus on Burlington, Charlotte and Shelburne, but also continues to represent clients in areas surrounding the mountain resorts.

A dual citizen of Ireland and the U.S., Jane lives in Charlotte with her husband, family and pets, and enjoys skiing, hiking and bicycling.
