It's a rustically finished camp, with wood floors, and sheetrock. The first floor is a big open 20x30 room, with a kitchen area, wood stove, and living room. The wall of windows faces over the yard, treetops, and a great views of the Worcester Range. Upstairs has two loft-style bedrooms, that are connected by a catwalk. Walls and ceiling are insulated for winter use with the wood stove.This camp is rustic. Currently the water is from a spring, and there's no electricity or propane. Propane could be brought in. Electricity could come by solar or a generator. Or you could just be tough and go without. The custom outhouse takes care of that end of things. This inviting camp is great for hunting, snowmobiling, hiking, writing, practicing tai chi, whatever you want. Shepard Hill Road is a trail that is not maintained by the town. Property owners on the road do the maintenance themselves. Please note that the road is not drivable by car year round. Snowmobile and four wheelers are good for winter and mud season. Picture the kind of road they'd use in a Jeep commercial. It's a good way to keep out those who aren't serious enough about a private camp!
