John Black

John is a seasoned Real Estate Agent working with Vermont home buyers and sellers. In 2017 John invested in his own investment property and felt a true passion for the business and decided shortly after to start of his career at Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman. In his first year as a Realtor, John was listed in the "Top 30 under 30" young professionals at Coldwell Banker International for his outstanding work in the industry. Beginning his real estate career alongside his brother, George, the duo became known as the Black Brothers Team and were named Rookie of the Year by The Northwest Vermont Realtor Association in 2018. In 2022, John was recognized among the top 14% of Coldwell Banker Agents worldwide and in 2024 awarded the President's Elite award reconizing the top 2% of agents in production worldwide. 

John's passion lies in working closely with his clients, understanding their goals, and bringing together the necessary resources to help them achieve success. He believes that achievements are seldom attained in isolation and works hard to coordinate a team of professionals to ensure a seamless transaction. 

With two investment properties and a primary residence in Chittenden County, John sees the importance of growing wealth through Real Estate. In his free time you will find John skiing with family, traveling, spending time with friends, and finding joy in the trials and tribulations of raising a daughter.
