There is nothing quite like fall foliage in Vermont. It is stunning enough that if all you choose to do is take a drive to admire it, that is a day well spent. But while you are out, it’s likely you’ll find a fall harvest festival, which are plentiful in Vermont. Or perhaps you could stop to pick apples at Allenholm Farm or Chapin Orchard. Don’t miss the hayrides while you are there, or the cider doughnuts!
Fall is a wonderful time to take in some art in one of our outdoor installations such as Cold Hollow Sculpture Park or Helen Day Art Center’s “Exposed” outdoor exhibit on the Stowe recreation path. Or decide to get lost in a corn maze- locally there’s one at Sam Mazza’s Farm and another at Isham Family Farm.
