There are approx 35 camps/cabins/homes on the pond.....there is a homeowner association ($100. per year cost) with restrictions in place about boating on the pond....no Jet Ski's permitted, and motor sizes for boats limited to 25hp or less....most owners have kayaks, canoes, or row boats....fishing is "great"...small mouth bass ! This is a "very special" location, a quiet paradise, but close to Stowe / Shopping / Hospital / Golf Course / etc. ! The location is about 25 miles North of Stowe, Vermont, and about 12 miles North of Morrisville, Vermont. This home is currently used as a "3" season residence, vacation property. A "small portion" of South Pond Road and Marjorie Drive are Private roads (still town maintained in Summer) but not town plowed in the Winter...residents plow it themselves, or snowmobile, snowshoe or x-country ski in. There is a care taker who maintains this cabins lawns on a weekly basis and snowshoes in during the Winter to keep snow off of deck and roofs.
